General Review
Pinnacle Sports is another sportsbook that has been around so long that you know they must be doing something right. It is difficult to find any unfavourable comments about this highly rated online sportsbook. They are licensed in one of the better countries and you can be assured it isn't the type of license that is ust a piece of paper in return for an annual fee. Pinnacle was founded in 1998 and now has satisfied players in over 100 countries.
They are a no-nonsense sportsbook that relies on good service and even better lines rather than big bonuses and a fancy website. That's not to say the website is not up to par, it is a clean interface and you should have no problem using it. Speaking of problems, if you have a question then there is 24 hour email support. Unfortunately there is no telephone support but this isn't always a bad thing because of language problems. Pinnacle offer one of the best email support response times so it is quite likely that you question or issue will be answered and resolved faster via email than telephone anyway. Of course you can still place bets by telephone if you wish, it is just support that is not offered over the telephone.
So what makes Pinnacle Sports so attractive? For starters it is there philosophy of operating on low margins and passing these saving onto the players in the form of a discounted vig. An example is the lay -105 on all football. Have a look around, you won't find too many other sportsbooks offering this, along with a solid reputation like Pinnacle. It is always a risk to operate on low margins because you have to rely on high volumes of players and they have managed to do this. Others intend to move to this model "once they have a player base", but then tend to get greedy and keep the vig high. Pinnacle doesn't.
As for lines, you will find they are very competitive in this area as well and this more than makes up for the lack of bonuses and other loyalty incentives that some other sportsbooks need to offer. As is said elsewhere in this site, you shouldn't be choosing a sportsbook based on the bonuses, if you get one accept it as just that, a bonus. For this reason Pinnacle attracts and retains a good number of medium to high value players. They also cater to the smaller players who are familiar with sportsbetting but just don't have the large bankroll.
Coverage of sports is good with all the North American sports covered and a pretty reasonable range European sports as well. Pricing can also be displayed in either American or decimal depending on your preference.
Overall you should have gathered by now the Pinnacle is a good bet and there is nogambling involved when you choose this sportsbook over one of the others.
Please note the Pinnacle Sports no longer accepts bets from US customers.
